First Day of School!

The first day of School was bittersweet! I was excited to see them off yet secretly I miss having them around. The have both been in school this week since Wednesday and I got a taste of what my life will be like....well for the next little while and I have one word...YAHOOO! I think I will be able to accomplish so much of what I want and they will be learning and having fun with their friends at school. What a WIN/WIN situation! This Wednesday I was able to take Zoey to the Rec center all by herself and she loved it! I am glad I have these next few months to give her lots of mommy time before Izzy Mae gets here and hogs me up!

Its offical Chazz is done with Kindergarden! I am so proud of him and was near tears at his program today. He had a fashion show where he dressed up in his Jazz gear and had a basket ball and sweat bands on. He did such a great job singing too. He would hate that I said this but I really think he likes singing and is pretty good at it too. He is so excited to go to 1st grade and stay at school all day and eat lunch there too. Zyan is done with the 2nd grade tomorrow. I cannot believe how well she has done this year and how much she has learned. I think I forgot to post this but she made it into the second grade spelling bee. She did so well and made it through 4 rounds. She is great at reading and math and the only thing she needs to work on is her handwriting. She is excited for cursive in the third grade and I hope that she will have more of the same kids in her class again Zoey is longing for the day she can go to school! For now she goes to her pretend school (daycare) 2 mornings a week so I can keep up with all of my Huskiez work responsiblities. It counts for Zo because she gets to pack a sack lunch like Zy (its just her snack!).

I went to the Dr. today! It was a normal appointment which is a great thing in the pregnancy world! I heard the heart beat, which was fun. It took the Doctor a little longer than I would like to find it though giving me time to be pesimistic. Then relief washed over me when the hoof beats started! 4 more weeks until we find out the gender, This is starting to become more real for me and I am allowing myself to get excited!!

This weekend Zack gave me some time off from the older kids for a Mothers Day weekend treat. They play in the field behind the shop, they have even made a lean to fort there. The grass was long and green in the field and Zack took some really good pictures on his phone. I love when Zyan and Chazz put aside their differences and play together, I know they will remember the time they share together "working" at the shop with Dad!

Soccer Star!!

Zyan has really started to enjoy Soccer this year. She made her first goal 2 games ago and the last game she scored again. These goals have really boosted her confidence and she is now a go getter on the field! Way to go Zy!

Ever since I can remember my Dad has called me Butch for a very ugly hair cut that I gave myself when I was a kid. Well yesterday before church Zoey gave herself her very own version of a BUTCH haircut!! While I was upset that she did this yesterday amongst other things that she kept getting into, looking at her now you just have to laugh and wait for her bangs to grow back!

Saturday April 9th:

Today Zyan was baptized! I am so proud of her choice to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. There was such a peaceful feeling as I watched her father baptize then confirm her. I loved the blessing he gave her after that to stay close to the Lord and it would help her to be able make future commitments to Heavenly Father. I am so lucky to have such a beautiful little girl who has a strong desire to do what it right and to obey the commandments. I am also so lucky to have my husband who also has those same desires. It was a great day today to be with Zyan and all of the family who came to support her. I hope I will always remember this day!

Chazz was picked for student of the month in his class for November! They held a small program for the student of the months today and presented them with a certificate and explination of the character trait they exeplified, a certificate for free cookie dough from papa murphys and 2 free kids meals at applebees and famous daves! Here is what Chazz's teacher had to say: It gives me a great deal of pleasure to present Chazz Hinckley as a model of integrity. On many occasions, I have noticed Chazz helping out other students without being asked. When a job needs to be done, he is the first to volunteer and to lend a helping hand. He follows the class and school rules and does not need to be reminded to make the right choices. He never tries to shortcut on his work. It is always finished and done with care. I really enjoy having Chazz in my class and appreciate the great example that he sets. Keep up the good work!
I am so proud of how he behaves at school. He is turning into such a sweet little boy who cares deeply about doing well at the things he does. Way to go buddy!

Nebraska Trip day 4

Omaha Henry Dorley Zoo how I do love you! If you are ever even thinking about visiting Omaha NE this is hands down one of the stops you MUST make. This zoo is not only beautiful but is a whole day ADVENTURE! From indoor exhibits that take you to a jungle or a desert in the night or even an adventure to the artic and under the see. There is simply nothing that I have ever seen that compairs! My sister Holly was the photographer at the Zoo so I have to get some pitures from her but I did snap this shot of me and one of my best friend from Elementary school through High School Danah!! What a wonderful suprise to see her there. I will have to scan in a piture I found of her and I as grade schoolers at the petting zoo there!!!

Nebraska Trip day 3

I dont have any pictures of this day yet but we got to hang out with my whole family. Yes the whole family. My Dad, Sara and Kathryn and Ashley drove from Waterloo IA to hang out with us. My Dad really Never gets to see my whole family because we live so far away but it was such a great time and I am glad he made the trip. We had a big BBQ at my sister Heidi's and her friend Joe made us some very yummy ribs. We enjoyed a NE firework spactacular which included all of the illegal Utah fireworks!!!! (meaning they were all in the sky, here they have to be on the ground or they are illegal(LAME)) Very fun and very enjoyable.

Well its been a month since my trip and I finnaly have a free late moment to blog about it. Zack decided to grace us with his presence and drive 14 hours with us to visit my side of the family. We started off on July 2nd and drove to Cheyenne Wy. We finnished the 7 hour leg of the trip the next day and drove to my uncles farm in weston Ne. On the way there Zack made us stop the car and take a picture next to the corn. We then had a delicious 3rd of July BBQ and the boys had a lot of fun doing fire works. Zyan was so happy to see their horses. Then we finnished the hour drive from weston to Omaha that night.

Bathroom Update.

Ever since we re tiled our bathrooms upstairs and painted the vanitys i have wanted to frame our mirrors. We found a lady in our neighborhood who does just that! Her name is Michelle and she owns Reflected Designs. She came to our home 2 weeks ago and I picked out the frames and placed our order. Today she came and hung the frames on the mirrors! I have a totally new look in my bathrooms and couldn't be happier!

I was a grocery guru this week! I got all of this for $69.91. I have been clipping coupons for olny the items I think I will use and then waiting for them to be on sale in the adds. So I totally scored this week with 8 boxes of cereal @ .97, 7 boxes of eggo waffles @ .82 (for our breakfasts on Wacky Waffle Wednesday!) 5 keebler cookie packs @.83, 2 ben and jerrys pints @2.00, 2 loafs of granny bread, 2 packs of strawberries, banannas, potatoes, 3lbs of sausage, 2 lbs of bacon, 1 gal of o.j. 1 gal apple juice, 2 gal of milk, bagels, lettuce, tortillas, tomatos! Obviously a lot of this will be stored and saved for later but I was just so excited about my steals I had to share!!! I scour the adds on wednesday night write down the sales to price match at walmart and then find coupons if I have any then I shop for the sales on Thursday. This has really helped me build up my food storage and helps me save a lot of $$$!

As you can tell, I have neglected my blog horribly!! I have not one excuse but that life gets busy and .......fill in the blanks. I love looking at other peoples blogs, and have noticed a trend in my family, they post about their families and their hobbies/passions. Well I decided to jump on the bandwagon and post about my love for card making.

Last month I made a trip to the scrapbook expo with $50.00 and came home with a great bunch of papers and extra cute do-dads and $7.00, if you can believe that!! Papers + Heather = no sleep!!! I kept dreaming of the combos that I could create and could not wait to cut some of that paper!!!!! So here is a picture of my loot and my first creation with my finds!!

Family Vacation part II !

I am going to try to do this in a few posts because we took a lot of pictures and it was so much fun I want to do it justice. We boarded the cruise ship on Oct. 25th at 2:30. We were so lost, the ship was huge and being first time cruisers we kind of had to stumble around and figure out how things are done. We found our rooms and they were awesome! I am so glad we had 2 because then we could watch our own shows and get away from each other. I think at times it was the best thing for all of us!!! We sailed for 2 days south along the baja penninsula and each day it got warmer and hotter! While aboard we got to play put put golf, swim and go on a water slide! We watched a bunch of drunk people sing karoke and ate some of the best food ever! The kids enjoyed camp carnival most of the sailing days which provided activities for their specific ages....you have to see some of the pictures from the camp activities, they really do a great job. My favorite part was the dining room. We ate there 70% of the time for the ease of ordering and having your food brought to you. There was also a buffet style of eating but with the 3 kids that was hard to carry all the food/drinks and have everyone be happy. Dinner time we got to pick a starter each and a main dish and a fabulos dessert. All of it was mouth watering. There was one night that was cruise elegant and it was like prom on the ship, I felt underdressed in my sunday clothes that is how fancy people got. One other luxury was the fact they clean your room 2 times a day! They also leave a cute towel animal every night on the end of your bed, one night they left a monkey hanging from the lights. On Tuesday was our first port day in Puerto Villarta Mexico, and I will tell you about that in my next post.

Family Vacation!

First Disney Land then a Cruise to the Mexican Riviera! 10 days of Fun, Fun, Fun! We flew into Long Beach and stayed at the Carousel Inn right across the street from Disney Land! Diane and Taylor (Grandma and Aunt) meet us there and even had joining rooms with us! We had 2 day park hopper passes and our first day at Disney Land was on Friday. Because Diane had ankle surgery and had a wheel chair we got to go to the front of all the lines!!! (If I have any suggestions about going to disney land take someone with you that needs a wheel chair!) My favorite ride was the Peter Pan one, Zack liked the Buzzlight year where you got to shoot targets. Chazz loved Jedi Training and Zyan loved getting a makeover at the Bibbidy Bobity botique. Zoey loved all the lights and music! Now that I have been to Disney Land I would love to compair it to Disney World....Maybe that is the making for another family vacation!! I am posting the cruise pictures seperate...I am all out of Bloggin time.

Is she really 7 months old? She is still not rolling over but she sits up like a champ. Her sqeaks and squeels melt our hearts. We really love having her in our family and cant wait to see all the fun she adds to us. I had to visit teach today and it turned into almost 2 hours long...I guess we are chatty patties, and Zoey went with me and missed her morning nap. I put her in the jumperoo to get some work done and came back to her sawing logs!! It was so cute I have to take a picture!

Chazz is so excited to be in Pre-Kindergarden Preschool! I think he may already be ready for Kindergarden!(minus a few social/behavioral skills...lol). He can already write his name and count to 35 with no mistakes! He is smart incognito, meaning he would never let on that he is. He is so funny lately he is such a sneek, I often catch him with popcicles he didnt ask for or watching tv with out asking etc. I love his independance! His first soccer game is on Saturday so we will see how this year is...Oh yeah I am the coach (look out).

We have had the most fun summer! We have had what seems like an endless vacation with so many fun things done with family and friends....the list started at Cherry Hill to celebrate Zyan and Chazz finnishing school, and being great students. The next weekend was a celebration of Mac's birth with boating with the Maughn family at Willard Bay. Then came the 4th of July weekend with a reunion at Mike and Erins...we had a dinner with Bryson's (our nephew) birth family. Then on the 4th we had a fun BBQ with the New Peak Circle gang! The next weekend was a fun time at Raging Waters and then some fun times at the Herriman beach with a Trip to Yuba Lake with our neighbors.(These two beaches dont even compair, Yuba was way nicer...maybe it was the boats.) This past weekend we had a family reunion at plain city utah and a bithday party for my AZ nephews! Monday we went to Lagoon, and then back to the Herriman beach! With all these outdoor activities why am I not TAN???? I will post some pictures later when I have some more time.!

Were so glad when Daddy comes home! Glad as we can be! We clap our hands and shout for joy and climb up on his knee, we wrap our arms around his neck and hug him tight like this. We pat his cheeks and give him what? A GREAT BIG KISS. I have watched Zack grow in the past 6 years in to a very admirable father. His strong personality may fool some but the closest to him know that he is the most loving, caring, cuddly Daddy. Our kids simply adore him. He trys his hardest to make sure that they know and can feel his love. What more could a Mother ask for. I love how he teaches them the Gospel and shows them by example how to strive to follow our Heavenly Father. Thanks Zack for all you do & Happy Fathers day!

Backyard Addition!

Zack has been hard at work in our own yard! He created a cool fire pit area and planted some trees around it. I am amazed at his creativity and love for landscaping. I planted some seeds with the kids and a few veggie starts, one has already been eaten by bugs :(. We love the summer and spending time in the outdoors, and now I love spending time in MY backyard! Our goal is to have a back yard you can feast on. So far we have strawberries, raspberries and black berries that come back every year. Hopefully we can get some berries to harvest this year, so far the strawberries are looking good (and tasting good too!). Also my herb garden is looking good too, with spearmint, chives, and sage going strong....basil, thyme and rosemary on the way!! We hope to add a grape vine this year when zack makes us some shade over our patio (I cant think of the word he always uses for it.). Also there are dreams of an apple tree, peach tree and or a pear tree, wish us Luck!!

Mother's Day!

Happy Mothers day to all of you Mothers out there! I have had a great day, this morning Zack filled my order of pancakes and bacon! Then I was presented with my Mothers Day gifts! Two bird houses (Zack helped Zyan and Chazz each make me one), a flower pen Zyan made at school, and a heart with hand prints Chazz made a school. It was a very relaxed morning for me and I loved it! Later we went to Diane and Gordons for Dinner, then to visit baby Mac with Josh and Cali.
Motherhood is such a fun blessing! It amazes me how fast children grow and learn, and how you love each of your children.
I also am greatful for the examples of Mothers I have in my life, My own Mom, Diane, My sisters and My sister in laws and great friends. I love watching and learning from all of them.
So at the end of this day I am greatful for the time I have to spend with my children and for the time my children get to have me as a mother!

I have been inspired by my sister-in-law Michelle, and my friend Missy to do a little re-decorating. I just moved to my home 1 year ago and I have finnally became so bored with one of the bathrooms(I have had the same decor for at least 5 years) I decided to spice it up a little bit. I am in the process of removing and painting so here is the before and I will present the after when I am finnished.......here is to a short redecorating(hopefully Zack wont step in and rip up the floor!(maybe I wouldnt mind..hehehe)).

Well yesterday I turned 28 years old, I really dont feel like I am that old because I certianly don't act my age! I was totally suprised yesterday morning when I woke up Zack gave me some vague instructions to get ready like I was going out on a date and not to eat anything, and to be ready by 8:30. He then took ALL of the kids and left to go to his parents. Then my friend Lisa came over and I was totally suprised. She planned with Zack to get my friends together and eat breakfast on my birthday! Then at 9 am my friend Missy came over and that was another great suprise. We went out to eat at IHOP and met my other friend Griselda. It was so much fun to have a girls date on my birthday, we even went shopping afterwards! Its been way to long for me to have a totally kid free morning with my friends, what a great Birthday Suprise!! Then after that Zack and I ate dinner together at Chili's while our other good friends B.J. and Christy let our Zy and Chazz play with their kids. I also got some cool messages today on my phone which was accidentally left at my mother in laws.....Thanks for the birthday wishes Taylor and Abble!
Each year on my birthday I take the time to reflect on my life and this year I have come to the conclusion that I am blessed beyond measure! I have a great family and extended family, a beautiful healthy baby, a loving husband and great friends. I am also blessed that our business is still going well in this struggling economy. I am so glad that I have the gospel in my life and that I know Heavenly Fathers plan of happiness for all of us. Thanks to all of the people in my life that make it such a happy one!

We have been on a roller coaster ride of visits and visiting my family from Nebraska this month. It all started the last weekend of March with my Mom coming in town for Zoeys blessing and the next weekend my Oldest sister Heidi and her family, then I had my 10 year class reunion in Nebraska. I sure dont have any home sickness for my family right now I am satisfied with all of the fun I have had with them in the past 3 weeks. Now that will just have to last me until October. While in Nebraska I got to see my Dad(its been like 5 years!) That was wonderful, just to see him, I talk to him frequently, but a face to face beats that hands down. I also got to see my Grandma, my biannual visit to her. She was excited to see/hold Zoey and take some cute pictures. Other than that I have been playing catch up on cleaning up after company and getting back into the swing of things on my own. I almost forgot, thanks for the cute Easter dresses Dad and Sara, they are so stinking cute in them!

Well we are having a ton of fun with having a new baby around. We dont get out much but we are lucky to have a lot of fun around our house. This week we saw good weather which has alluded the Salt Lake Valley for some time now, so my kids got on their swim suits and ran in our sprinklers.(it was only 50 degrees!) We are blessed that Zyan and Chazz get along together so well. This morning Chazz made me laugh, he came out wearing Zacks shoes! So I had to take a picture of that. Zoey is 3 weeks old this week and she is making a special place in all our hearts. What a joy it is to have a new baby in our house, before long she will be walking, talking, and getting into everything. I am making sure I treasure the time I have with her while she is so small. I had to add a picture of her sleeping, she will not allow me to swaddle her arms in, she will protest until they are out by her head, I think I remember feeling them in my hips when she was inside.

Well, time sure does fly when you have kids, especially a new born in the mix. I have been to tired to post, but a ton has happened since the last post. First on the 6th of March Zyan turned 6. I cannot believe that I am a mother of a 6 year old, am I really that OLD??? lol. She is and has always been a joy in our lives and we are so greatful she is in our family. For Zyans birthday she wanted a bigger bike, it was kind of silly watching her peddle 100 mph on a tiny bike, now she has a pink beach comber with flowers on it. We still need to find a basket to fullfill her bike request. During the bike shopping Zack decided I needed a bike, he brought home one for ME! ( Well take a look at the picture and you will see, Its really a bike for him that I will be able to ride! What a stinker.) Zoey went to the Dr. She has almost gained back her birth weight, she is a quarter of an inch taller and is in the 90% of girls her age. She had to get her heal poked and she cried soooo stinking hard that she was gasping for her little breaths, I felt so mean allowing it to happen.( wait until she gets her shots, yuck). So in the midst of all of this Zoey is up every 2-3hours each night and she stays awake for about 40min each time, I am so sleepy but I have read the first book in the Twilight series and am on the second book now. I think I am intoxicated with Edward! lol

She is FINNALLY here! She was born Monday Feb. 23rd at 7:45. She was 9 lbs and 21.5 inches. She has a headfull of dark hair and cute little dimples! We brought her home today at 10 am. We are both doing fine and are kicking back and relaxing together tonight.

Chazz is finnally 4 years old! I cant believe it was 4 years ago he was cut out of my stomach and found his way into all of our hearts! This year he was anxiously awaiting his bicycle, which he got first thing this morning. He is excited to have his favorite food, pizza, for dinner and to pick out a special movie to watch this afternoon. He thinks all of is presents are so cool and since his family birthday party on the 8th, they are all he talks about and plays with.
He was super excited to get some packages in the mail from Grandma Deb and from Grandpa Jim. Mom he already has polished off half his box of fruit snacks!!
He will have his final party with his friends on Saturday at McDonalds (which is also Zyans friend party so I can just relax after the baby), so that will be a huge sigh of relief for me. Zack made me promise not to have seperate parties next year and just celebrate on their birthdays, I dont know if that will happen because I love to celebrate their birthdays and have a special party for their friends and for the family. I think he gets tired of hearing about presents and toys...etc.
Chazz has grown so much this year, I think that his milestones have been....1. Learning all of his shapes and colors 2. He can count to 20 by himself and sometimes higher 3.He has learned all about playing pretend 4. He can spell his name and identify those letters 5. He is simply growing like a weed!!

One Busy Week ahead!

I am all ready for the baby to come, but this last week is jam packed with Chazz's 4th Birthday, Dr. appointments and Birthday Parties! I would usually welcome the baby earlier (well who am I kidding I would love to have it any day), but I have a lot of things going on this week that need to be done before the little one arrives. We are still stuck on middle names for the two we have picked out... Zoey ? and Boaz ?. I really want the names to flow and have a great meaning, so I better get crackin on that too.

10 days left!

I have 10 days until my scheduled surgery. I am having contractions that take my breath away and every once in a while they are stronger than that. I almost went in to get checked out, to see if I am dialated, but I dont want to jump the gun here, the hospital is an expensive place to visit, and just be sent home. I noticed them starting last night at 8 and they are still going on pretty regularly, I am just waiting for intensness now. Last night I woke up at 3:30 to go to the potty and sat up too fast, which gave me a huge contraction. It woke me up enough to take a shower, do some dishes and laundry. I think today I will vacume and try to get some other things done just incase these contractions lead to something. ( I kind of hope they do they are really annoying). right now they are spaced pretty evenly at about 6 minuets and last 1-3 minuets. time will tell!

Well we have been working hard all week. Mostly Zack has done it, but I feel guilty not helping him, so I end up in there working away. I only last a few hours and my back starts to sting in pain so I lay down and get up and check the progress. Its amazing what Zack can do, he is so talented and creative. I definatly grabbed myself a good one. I only have 17 days left until my c-section so I am certian we will have the project completed, I am only concerned about what bedding to put on the bed. My Dad thinks its a girl, but my body is telling me that this is one tough cookie for a girl, but I would love to be proven wrong....either way I will be elated to have another person in our family.

Well now that the Nursery is cleared out, we can start on it. Today Zack and I spent an hour and a half this morning getting the room ready to paint and to get new wood flooring......And the race is on, will we finnish before the baby comes????? Notice the floor is ready!

I thought it would take longer than this, but the closets are done!!! Zack worked very hard on these closets and I helped--a little. Mostly just painting the doors, one of the insides of the closets and put on all the door knobs. I have an awesome Husband, I absolutly love my craft closet! The only thing left is to paint the rooms, and put on the moldings!!! On to the next Project.

How this time has flown by! Its funny to see things SLOWLY coming together before the baby comes. We had a few minor house modifications to do so we could give my scrapbook room to the new baby. I am excited to have 3 new basement closets, one of which will be my craft closet, so dont feel to sad for me that I lost my scrap room ;)! As soon as the closets are finnished we can move all my junk out of the baby room and start on it. Zack wants to put hard wood flooring in there (left overs from our last house), I want a closet organizer. Other than that its minor things like painting the walls and celing, and a new light for the room. Typed up like this it seems pretty do-able;however, I would bet that Zack will be putting the finnishing touches on the room while I am at the Hospital....just a hunch. I am getting along pretty well, My hips are going numb when I sleep and I am plagued with a small bladder, I think all in all, I am really doing great! Zyan and Chazz are getting excited for their Birthdays coming up and also excited that the baby will be born right in the middle of their Birthdays! But I think they are more excited for their own Birthdays!

I had another Dr. Visit on Tuesday and I found out the time of my c-section and the delivery of little baby Hinckley....7:30. So if anyone would like to come and see the baby I would say be there around 8 or so. Its scheduled at the IHC medical center in Murray.

Our Christmas FHE, treat!

Well for Zacks birthday he got a gift card for Red Lobster from my Mom. We decided to save it for a special Christmas FHE date night! The kids are total fans of sea food and love their cheddar bay biscuts. We had a lot of fun together there and had our lesson on the way home about Charity and how its means Christ like love. I tried to explain that is why we donate food to food banks, blankets to the homeless ect. and preform service. The best part of having FHE is when one of your kids has something sink in and says it all on their own. I was taking Chazz to preschool and the radio said something like "so what is Christmas all about any way", in a jingle. Well Chazz took that as a direct question to him and awnsered "It's about Jesus's Birthday...duhhh"....It gave me a real chuckle that he knew why we celebrate Christmas because he has a very hard time sitting in FHE, and I loved the added bonus of the duhh, like everyone should know!!!! Having kids to teach about the Gospel and Jesus Christ is a great responsibilty, at times challenging. yYet laced and sprinkled with loads of Laughter and Fun!

I had my glucose (gestational diabietes) test on tuesday, I still havent heard anything back yet sooooo, I guess no news is good news! I also got my rogram shot, which I will probably have to get after the little one is here too ( its a shot I have to get because Zacks blood is positive and mine negative). I am so glad that the Holidays are here, its totally takiing my mind off of the pregnancy. I have found that not finding out what the sex is of the baby really has been a $ saving decision, I am guilty of buying things that I really dont need at times and this is really taking the urges out of it! The nursery still isnt ready but I am not worried about it Zack still has 2 months and he is great with tools and has an eye for remodeling. I am really feeling that its another boy...But I think I will cry harder if I hear that we get another little Girl! It would be nice to break the boy streak, for Zyans sake anyway( I think Zack would agree, but Zy wants to remain Queen of the Boys!) Post me a comment on what you think it will be, it will be fun to see what others are thinking/hoping for!

26 week appointment!

I had my Doc appt yesterday. Everything looks fine, My uterus is measuring 29 in( i guess). That is a bit bigger than where I should be but, He said that its okay. I am now 19 lbs heavier than my first appointment, and I should gain about 14 more lbs (please please please let it only be that!!!!!! hahaha) I go back in 2 weeks for my glucose tollerance test to see if I am developing gestational diabieties. I think I am fine though with that. I asked him about my mood swings and crying spells and he told me to see if I could go with out taking a med, it would be better for me and the baby if I didnt. I also told him that I am regreting not finding out what the sex is of the baby, he offered to let me know right then!!! I told him I would think about it and let him know at my next visit. Other than my psychoness from the hormones, my back is aching, I am tired a lot and I will admit it, I am not as good at cleaning up as I usually am. My friend gave me the rest of this funny cheer from High School that keeps making me laugh as I tweek it for me being pregnant:

I havent posted my tummy pictures in a while because Zack teased me about it. But he is camping tonight so he cant poke fun!!!(hahahaha) I am 25 weeks along so far, this is what mybabycenter.com says about this stage. Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture. I have my next Doctors apointment next tuesday for my 26 week check up! I hope the Holiday Season helps me forget how much longer I will have to remain in the state of pregnancy!!!!!

For FHE last nigt our activity Zyan picked was to paint! She got out the paint and paper, plates and cups, it was a lot of fun.........UNTIL....We all got a little out of control and paint ended up on faces! We all decided to make beards and mustachs like Daddys! However I really didnt want to participate in this but Chazz is just so stinking persistant!!!! Thats how I ended up with the yellow mustach! We really enjoyed this fun time together!

Zacks Birthday!

This is 2 weeks late!!!!(just my style!) I wanted to write a little bit about our night out at the melting pot!!!!! We had so much fun together, the atmosphere was romantic it felt like we were alone in the restraunt. We got a fondue 4 course meal, it started with a cheese dip with bread and veggies and apples to dip, then we had salad, next was our main meal, it included pork, chicken, shrimp, lobster, salmon and steak with a variety of dipping sauces oh yes and veggies to cook in the broth too. (the meat you cooked in a broth right there at your table). We finnished off with a desert fondue and zack choose a white chocolate dipping sauce and there was strawberries, pound cake, rice crispies, marshmallows and cheese cake to dip! Wow was this meal satisfying delicious and really entertaining. We got there a bit early at 4:30 and we didnt get done until 7pm! We decided to skip the jazz game and just go hang out at home. I hope Zack enjoyed his birthday(I know I did!!!hehe)-----The only draw back to the restraunt is the price!!!! I will definatly save up to go again! for the 4 course meal+drinks+tip, expect to save around 125.00---for special occasions totally worth every penny! I almost forgot the other news from Nov. 1 Zyan lost her second tooth while eating a cookie!

Kindergarden Halloween Parade!

Zyan got to wear her costume to school today for her Halloween Party and Costume Parade. I love the cute picture face she always makes. My camera was a little slow as the parade came at me so fast, I had to take a picture of her in the class room! I love Zyan so much!!! Our life would be very dull with out her! Last night I picked her up from her dance halloween party, which was so much fun for her. She started in on the treats before we got home(which is like a 5 min. drive at the most). She choose to chew a laffy taffy and her tooth was pulled loose! Its the one right next to the one she just lost on the bottom. Needless to say the night was filled with tearful concerns about how she will never be able to eat again, and how her mouth will fill with blood, etc. etc. etc. By 8:00 I was so glad it was bed time!!!! In addition to all the fun we had with another loose tooth we carved our halloween pumpkins! The girls did one together and the boys did one together, Zyans jack-o-lantern was created in her likeness, missing 2 bottom teeth and Chazz had to make his SCARY!!! We are all excied for Halloween here and to spend it with the Hinckley Family!

Well everything went really well. Well except for the fact that I gained 6 lbs in one month so far 12 lbs total!!(I hate french fries, cheesecake, candy bars and all the sweets I ate for doing that to me.) So that means in 16 weeks we will be able to meet our newest family member!!! Wow, time flys until the last couple months....then they cant go fast enough!(if its not adding up for you I get to have the baby 2 weeks early!!! SO LUCKY!)
Then I had a Ortho appointment, and got to see Bethany(which is always a treat!). I got a power chain on the top which is giving me a huge headache! I just need 2 of my bottom teeth to rotate and then I can get a move on with a stronger wire on the bottom and elastics. I cant wait to be done with these braces and the cuts they make inside my mouth!
Zyan has some special news, she is having her room painted! Right now she has 1 wall that is bright purple, 2 walls will be light pink and one wall with butterflies and flowers she was given by Aunt Cali! I think it will be awesome when its all done, and I get the purple paint off of the white celing!(OOPS.)

Toothfairy Time!

Zyan lost her first tooth this morning while eating her pancakes! She was scared at first because she bit it. Then she freeked out when her mouth filled with blood from the tooth. I had to explain that it was normal and that it would stop. She was so excited she tried to call Granny Goose right away, since she was already at school she decided to call Aunt Erin, then Grandma Nebraska. Right now she just asked if Granny was done with school yet! 5 years old and lost her first tooth!

Burnt Hair!!!!

I tried to crimp my hair today and totally burnt off a whole section in the front!!! It smelled so bad! I was just crimping the top layer so its the top layer right in my part. Needless to say I was a little ticked, but there wasnt anything I could do about it either, whats done is done, so I choose to laugh about it. Anyway from this experience I have thrown that iron away and found a new way to part my hair, it looks like a comb over slightly, but i guess in a way it is! I found this out when i was brushing my hair and it kept coming out in my brush like I was having chemo treatments, sad I know.

Nebraska Trip

Zyan Chazz and I went on a weekend vacation to Omaha, Nebraska to visit my side of the family. We traveled 6 hours on Wed Oct 1 and 8 hours on Oct 2, finnally arriving in Omaha at 6:30 in the evening. It was so much fun to watch the kids interact with thier Grandma Nebraska, Aunts Heidi and Holly and their cousins Sabrina, Sierra, Sutton, Tyler and Trevor. The kids loved being at Grandmas house because their were friends there all day long(my mom has a daycare)! On Saturday All the Adults met up with my Grandma Dorothy and went out for lunch together, then we all took a trip downtown to the Omaha Childrens Museum to play. After that I went out for the night with my highschool friends to dinner and a pub that had a mechanical bull to ride(I didnt ride it, but I laughed at all those who did!) On sunday we took a trip to the Omaha Henery Dorley Zoo! What a magnificent Zoo it is! It gets even better each time I visit. They seem to always have a new indoor attraction. On monday I went out for cheesecake with my oldest sister Heidi, Holly had to work that day so she couldnt come. Then we awoke on Tuesday for the longest drive of my life!!!!! The trip totalled 16 hours with food and potty breaks included, I was so exhusted! I swear I will never drive that all in one day alone again!!!! But who knows anything is possible!

Chazz has just started a pee wee soccer! He had his frist game on Thursday and It was so stinking funny! All of the kids run at the ball at the same time and they are pushing and kicking to get at the ball. Chazz is suprisingly pretty good at breaking away frm the group with the ball and in the Thursday game almost scored 3 times, he was just running too fast to redirect his body/ball towards the goal. He ran so hard and was so tired after the game. Also he was sad because none of his balls made it in the net.
Today however was a different story! Chazz had 5 goals!(Only 3 counted). He was fast and agressive and he made the goals! He was so excited and happy he did it he would throw his hands up and shout for joy. He is learing about team work and that its great when anyone on his team scores not just if its him.

Lately I have been a food storage junkie! I loved the case lot sales this month and I am glad I have 1 more week left to stock up on things at great prices. Last weekend one of the Brothers in my ward gave me a flat of blackberries. Boy did he open a can of worms for me! With in an hour I had them all cleaned and seperated, bad(garbage), o-kay (syrup and muffins that day!), really good I froze and planned on making jam. Well then on Wednesday our neighbor Alma gave us a Huge grocery sack full of peaches from her tree! I immediately thought of more jam, and peach cobbler and peach crisp. So far I made cooked jam from that, which was an accident because I thought I was making freezer jam, so I had to hand that out so it could be consumed with in a couple of weeks( I had 9 cups of it). Then I care fully read the recipies from that point on and have sucessfully made 3 batches of freezer jam! 1 batch of peach (7 cups) and 2 batches of strawberry (10 cups)( I got the strawberries for $2 for 2lbs at Sams club. Needless to say I feel like I have had some help getting prepaired this month! What would you do with out great neighbors and great sales from our grocery stores!
I have planned to make next week some blackberry freezer jam, strawberry peach freezer jam and blackberry peach freezer jam! I just have to wait till my next grocery trip to get more freezer containers and fruit pectin!

The baby is moving!

I just felt the baby move today! I questioned it for the last week but today it was for sure. It was getting sqwished by a full bladder!( I guess the baby didnt like that.) So now I feel like its really happening. I washed all my 0-3 month boy and girl clothes so I am prepaird for whoever greets us in February!

Dr. Visit

So I had my second Dr. visit today. All is well, the heartbeat was normal, I was normal, it was just a normal visit! Yeah good news. My next appointment will be on September 30th, right before my trip to Nebraska! It will be an ultrasound visit so I could find out the sex if we want to. But I think we are still going to wait, I get all teary eyed thinking of delivery day and everyone finds out together! I love lifes miracles! We also get to have a DVD recording of it so if your interested in viewing it let me know. Or if you want to come along for the visit let me know too its at 9:00 am on the 30th!

Funny, Funny Zyan

So I don't have a picture of this funny thing Zyan did but who cares I just have to share it! We were delivering flyers/invites for a relief society activity on Wednesday, we each took one up to a house to hang on the door. So imagine I am 3 houses behind Zyan at this time. Mean while Chazz had a door that had a special nob and he was trying to put the invite to the dead bolt and was upset it wasn't staying where he put it. So now that a little time has lapsed and Zyan who is very bright still hadn't finnished putting her invite on the door yet. A little confused I walked over to see what the trouble was. Well the trouble was that Zyan had found the perfect place to sit down and sing! She was belting out a Cinderella twisted in time love song!!! I was having a hard time containing my laughter, because she was looking so serious, so I just said Zyan what are you doing? She was sucked back into the real world, and just smiled at me and said nothing and put the invite on the door and walked to the side walk. I really need to catch her on video camera one day!

HE WAS SO TICKLED THAT SHE WANTED HIM TO GO HE REARRANGED HIS MORNING TO ACCOMADATE! WHAT A GREAT DAD. OH YEAH ZYAN LOVES HER SCHOOL AND CAME HOME WITH A CAKE AND A NOTE THAT SAID MY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL WAS A PIECE OF CAKE!

So on the 4th of July our family decided to have a mini vacation.....to Lagoon! Really exciting I know! We even made an over nighter of it at a hotel in North Salt Lake and bounced back the next day. On July 26 our ward had a breakfeast and bike parade in commemoration of Pioneer Day. It was so much fun eating all the yummy food and decorating and riding the bikes. The kids loved it even when chazz fell 3 times! Yikes.

This summer is going to be so much FUN! Each Tuesday Diane, Erin, Rachel, and I (and the kids of course) are hanging out together! We take turns planning the fun activity. So far we went to the Zoo and to the Herriman splash park. We are planning on going to the Orem Dinosaur Museum and the Lehi Legacy Pool too. I hope that I can remember my camera for the next few!

I have recently taken over the responsibility of being my childrens preschool teacher. We pick a 2-3 week theme and find books, movies and of course a field trip! Currently we are studing about FARMS! I didnt realize how much fun this would be for me but I have learned a lot about farm animals from the books we read. I also had forgotten how wonderful the book Charlottes Web is, which completely fits in with the FARM! We just had a field trip to the Thanksgiving point farm which was awesome, it even came with a pony ride. We are studing up some more this week and plan to end our FARM weeks with a trip to Wheeler Farm! I hope to post some pictures soon!

Established in 2001 and still going strong. We just moved to Herriman/Riverton area right on the border of both cities so thats why I cant pick just one. Zack and I have been married for almost 7 years and we have 2 kids. Zyan is 5 and loves to pretend and sing. Chazz is 3 and he loves any kind of sport. We started Huskiez Landscaping in 2002 after Zack graduated from Utah State, its a landscaping and lawn matinence company. We LOVE all the work that having a home, family and business brings our way!
